On June 3, 2014, former President Bill Clinton delivered the keynote address at the Presidential Sites and Libraries Conference VI in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Clinton spoke on a variety of topics including his presidency, the preservation and interpretation missions of presidential libraries, and the importance of cooperation and compromise in decision-making.
“Here’s the only thing I really know for sure that’s still relevant: wherever people are working together with the aim of getting something done, good things are happening. And wherever people’s primary operational mode is to fight and emphasize our differences over our common humanity, good things are not happening.”
