The Shiloh Museum’s computer use policy outlines the standards the museum and city should abide by for maintaining the computer system and the hardware and software provided by the museum.

Included is an overview of website maintenance, guidelines for staff and employees using email and Internet, the sharing of passwords, documentation retention, and security.

The policy also states the property rights of the museum for anything produced on the computers at the museum.

This is a particularly useful model for organizations who have multiple staff members, volunteers, and interns sharing the same computers.
