Thumb The USS Constitution Museum shares stories of the undefeated warship, aka “Old Ironsides,” from the War of 1812.

Since its founding in 1976 the museum has demonstrated a commitment to hands-on/minds-on learning and has most recently began developing programming to enhance service to families and encourage family learning in its galleries.

This article details the steps the museum took to become a museum that supports family free-choice learning before, during and after the visits.
