The Minnesota Historical Society is embracing the possibilities of using social media tools to make closer connections with their audiences.

Their first venture was the Minnesota’s Greatest Generation Share Your Story website.

The MHS says that historical organizations exist to preserve and share stories to help people discover connections to their own history.

Online storytelling is an effective way of capturing stories so they can provide an accessible legacy for future generations.
