In the second leaflet of a two-part series on interpreting and engaging ethnic groups, Dorothy Weyer Creigh explains how to use information gathered on diverse groups within a community in different local history settings.
Creigh suggests including ethnic groups in exhibits at local museums with examples of how to incorporate this piece of community history.
Other ways include hosting discussion programs in a lecture-question format, organizing ethnic festivals, and producing publications, such as cookbooks and newsletters.
Creigh provides multiple examples for each of these methods of engagement.
