The Museum is committed to maintaining standards of professional and ethical excellence in all its actions and embraces the standards set forth by the American Association of Museums.

The Museum holds its collections in trust for the public and recognizes its responsibility to ensure their planned and coherent growth, development, use and care.

The Museum further recognizes its responsibility to prevent the loss of its collection by deterioration, mismanagement, or indiscriminate dispersal.
